Trustees – a brief Introduction
Prof Kapil Kumar, the Principal Trustee, is currently a Senior Fellow at Nehru Memorial Museum & Library, New Delhi ,India. In October 2019 he superannuated as Chairman, History faculty & Director , Centre for Freedom Struggle & Diaspora Studies from Indira Gandhi National Open University ( IGNOU ) New Delhi where he joined as a Reader in 1988 and Professor in 1991. He had earlier served as lecturer in Colleges of Delhi University and Meerut University since 1976 after his Masters in History.
During his 47 years of academic career, he has been a visiting professor to Monash University, Australia as an Endeavour Awardee, University of West Indies, Trinidad on the Chair of Indian Council of Cultural Relations, Catania University Italy under UGC India Exchange Programme, Anton De Kom University Paramibro, Suriname and UNISA Pretoria, South Africa on invitation.
He has published 4 books and more than 40 research papers and articles in national and international journals besides presenting papers in 20 international conferences and lectures in 18 universities abroad.
He has served on various national bodies like Press Council of India as a member and Member Secretary of Indian Council of Historical Research where he is currently a member of the Council.
He was the Chief Historian for 6 museums built recently in India: 1857, Yad-a-Jalian.Azadi kai Diwanai and INA & Netaji at Red Fort,New Delhi; Icons from the Soil of Bengal, National Library ,Kolkatta and Jalianwala Bagh, Amritsar. As a historian he has done history of 5 Prime Ministers for PM’s Museum at Teen murti House, New Delhi and done scripts for 3 Sound & Light shows at Red fort, Delhi; Jalianwala Bagh Amritsar and Burhanpur , Madhya Pradesh.
Mrs Kamini Kudasia is a Masters in Classical Indian Music from Meerut University and holds a BEd degree too. She has a keen interest in history of Indian arts and music and is actively generating awareness among the school children besides teaching classical music and Indian heritage.
Mr Bimal Sharma is a Chartered Accountant and Lawyer by profession and heads his own firm. He is also a Company Secretary and holds degrees in various fields related to Management And like Certificate in Anti- Money Laundering, Certificate in Financial Evaluation, Post Graduate diploma in Cyber law and many other related areas. His expertise and vast experience since 1995 in areas of Finance, Taxation, Project Formulation ,Business Planning and enhancement, Auditor and legal matters is being used by many leading banks and industries in India.
For three years he was the Special Director of Shreeton India Ltd, appointed by the Government.
Mr PC Kudasia is a Maters in History and has served the banking Industry for more than 4 deacades.
Mr Anil Kedia is a businessman with a deep interest in Indian history and heritage and has actively promoted and supported research in these areas.
Mr Anil Talwar is a businessman who keen interest in understanding ancient Indian history and supports research.
